25-11-09: Elburg Botanic Media takes over Smit Etiketten
In the world of botanical printing has a joining of forces occurred. Elburg Botanic Media / Printing of Elburg in Sassenheim ownes as of November 25, 2009 Smit Etiketten Hillegom. This creates a strong player in the market for printing in the ornamental industry. Elburg Botanic Media, specialists in packaging and promotional printing for botanical products and Smit Etiketten, known from the plastic labels for floriculture products, now jointly operate the customer portfolio.
Jan-Marc Oosting, Director of Elburg Botanic Media is pleased that the acquisition is a fact. "Smit Etiketten has a strong regional position and boasts on years of experience in the plastics market. Combined with our new press and the 150,000 images, with which we operate with Visions Pictures in Lisse, this is an enrichment to the changing demand in the industry.”
Elburg Botanic Media represents since five years Drukkerij van Elburg. The printing company has been 75 years a landmark in the bulb industry. The overall media company continued to grow as the known address for concept development and printing of promotional sales support.
20-08-09: Elburg Botanic Media on Plantarium
From Wednesday 26 to Saturday August 29 is the Plantarium in Boskoop. Elburg will once again be setting up a stand at the event, this time together with our sister companies Drukkerij van Elburg and Visions. Our stand (number 85) will be in the same location as last year.

13-01-09: Visions will take over the leasing of Elburg Botanic Media's image bank
Visions will take over the leasing of Elburg Botanic Media's image bank from the beginning of 2009. All Elburg Botanic Media images and those of Visions can be accessed from then on through one website: www.visionspictures.com. The new image bank offers improved advance search functions which will allow you to find your image even more quickly.
Both Elburg Botanic Media and Visions have botanical knowledge and networks at their disposal, and together we can put all that to work for the further development of the image bank.

Our floral cards can be ordered online from the 2nd of June 2008 as well. Click here and find yourself in our webshop immediately. Can't you find the image of your choice, then please select it in our separate image library and let us know. We will make sure it is available on short term through our printing on demand system.
